Barbaro is a law enforcement officer with over 20 years of real world experience, most of which have been in SWAT and Sniper Operations. He has been involved in over 600 realworld missions including an active shooter in 2013 where 5 random victims were shot and killed and two innocent victims were taken hostage. Barbaros involvement on this tragic day was instrumental in the saving of those 2 innocent victims.  Barbaro also has extensive experience in investigations specializing in robbery and homicide.

Barbaro has received numerous awards including: multiple Combat Cross Awards for police involved shootings, Gold Medal of Valor, Officer of the Year Award, Medal of Heroism Award given by Florida Governor Rick Scott. Barbaro has also received several Officer of the Month and Officer of the Quarter Awards, and over 30 commendations through out his career for meritorious service.
